Roman carnelian ring - LUCIUS ALFENUS AVITIANUS - 02-12-2008
Hello,
I have made a carnelian ring for my dear wife, Carme/ Galla Placidia:

It's made of silver and carnelian, not based in a specific found, but in generic roman fashion rings.
I have even tailed the carnelian gemstone to give the cabochon shape.
A Mars figure is engraved, but is dificult to see it in the picture.
A rest on military equipment making.... :wink:

I can see the female contributors queuing up to give you laudes.
I can also see them twisting their husband/boyfriends' arms up their backs, marching them to the computer, shoving their faces to within cm of the screen and citing you as a perfect example of manhood.
