Sagum edges
#1
I would like some opinions on the accuracy (if possible to be this discreet) or just your honest opinions in general.

I was thinking of making a sagum where around the edges there is an olive branch with leaves which immediatlry ends in fringes.

Below is the link to a crude drawing of the idea I have in mind.

Any input would be helpful. Does anyone think the design is inappropriate or that there is too mcuh yellow. The borders are good/no good?

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you planning to embroider the leaves around the edges? I guess that's about the only way to get the design on easily. In theory, they could be woven in, but it would be more expensive by far, then and now.

BTW, that drawing isn't crude at all. Looks nice.

Thanks for the compliment.

It would be weaved into the the main fabric not embroidered.
