Oh very nice Jan- certainly there was little doubt of the types of brushes used, but it's always nice to have a real piece to look at

I would also like to know more about ancient paint brushes, i'm only to bussy with other things on my to do list that keep me from cearching(i think i wrode this the wrong way) like you do.. :wink:

An interesting read, although there's no reason to suppose the Romans wouldn't use goat hair, etc, just like today.
