Well, I happen to like those kind of scenarios for some reason..oh yeah, it's the women in tight leather who are always featured in them!

It sounds a good bit like the old Roger Zelazny book and, sort of, resulting film, Damnation Alley. It was a great book and a not so great movie.

Exactly what I was thinking. I wouldn't mind seeing it on the big screen - there's some good actors thrown around in there And I think I spotted Alexander Siddig, who I adore from Star Trek DS9. :o
