Helmet modifications after Trajan\'s Dacian Campaign
#31
@ Howard
At the moment, i translate the full german text in english for Peroni. Maybe i´m finished tonight or tomorrow. It needs a little bit more time, because i never translate anything from german to english and the text is difficult.
If you send me your emai-adress per PN, i send it to you. I send you both texts, because it´s not possible for me to copy the drawings from the german text into the english text. But, don´t await any great english, my english is bad!

Well, I suppose you could say voluntarily.

I was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Military. I suppose I could have just stayed on base and drank my life away, but instead I chose to go out and mingle with the natives  Then I also chose to stay there and work after my term with the military.

Unfortunately, I got my interest back in things Roman after moving back to the States. Had I only known at the time, how much more I could have gotten out of my trips to Mogontiacum Cry

Next time, you visit me on holiday and we make a trip through all german museums (except Kalkriese, that´s no visit worth). You are stationed in Mainz, i guess? My dad was soldier in the 3rd Armored Division, from 62 to 64!
