Ave Jasper,
Whilst looking up w+w+tarn via Google I came across this, are you interested?

It's a picture of a quadrireme.
Enjoy.

Why would you want to find articles by that good old man?
Anyways, pretty ship, seems to be based on the drawings by Viereck, which aren't always overly dependable. They seem to have no clue of scale (judging by the size of those figures) and are perhaps not completely sure of what a 'four' entails.
The rest of the site is perhaps interesting, but here at uni Java is disabled and oh boy, that whole site is java based!

Ave Jasper,
The guys over at www.slitherine.com were discussing his books so I thought that I might see what I could find. They were also getting into the possiblities of ancient naval warfare computer games etc.
Here's another link to the same site, see if this works for you?

Ave Jasper,
Did you have a look at this site?
What did you think of the other ship images?
Was it of any use to you?

I did at least try to take a look at that site, but I saw a lot of 'coming soon' and the designer has gone overboard on the Java, imho. Neither are stimulating reasons to have a good hard look.

Ave Jasper,
That's a pity, I had hoped that I'd found a useful resource for you.
Oh well, I will keep on looking.

They sure are cute pics and the side view looks nice.
Not sure I could really use them, maybe for my avatar?
