Quote:I'm sorry I have made a mistake, It was the finds of Gornea. Sorry.Aha -- that makes better sense, Emmanuel. The Gornea kambestria are the shortest on record, at 13.3cm, 14.4cm, and 14.6cm, and (because of the variety of heights) probably represent three separate hand-held weapons. What sort of arrows do you use?

I have many problems for the arrows. They are too heavy. I 've made them about the find of doura europos. There is a long arrow and I make a proportion in reduction with the arrow of a scorpio. But if you have some others informations... thanks

If anyone is interested I am doing an exploration and writing on in-swinger ballista optimization routines and exercises. I have started a blog because I dont know if this is the proper place (rat), or even if a proper thread for this type of research exists. Please forgive me for this post if inappropriate. http://warhammer1.wordpress.com/2009/12 ... imization/
I would definitely appreciate any encouragements or contributions from the large amount of talent and expertise that exists here. My findings are there to share with you, and a work in progress. I am not a math wizard or engineer, rocket scientist or scholar. Thanx in advance.
