3rd century scabbard from Siscia?
#1
Since I need a scabbard for a 3rd century short sword, I am looking for archaeological and iconographic evidence about 3rd century sword scabbards (Oldenstein, James, Bishop + Coulston, etc.)

Now most (all?) findings (e.g. Khisfine) and images I have managed to take a look at point at more or less completely straight scabbards.
But are there any exceptions?

My main question: as I do not have the money for the book on Militaria Siscienses, can one of the lucky chaps who have a copy send me a scan of the 3rd century scabbard (fragment?) depicted in this book?

Thanks ! Big Grin
