Early 2nd AD Pugio Reconstruction ?
#1
Before I start posting, I have done some searching and I am haveing problems with the scabbard. I am going to do the Mougins scabbard but with different plates, the problem is the bottom of the scabbard is missing. I have seen the thread:
http://www.romanarmytalk.com/rat/thread-...s+scabbard
( By the way lovely work Wink )
was it like the one in the reconstruction with point tip or I have also seen a small disc, which is best for the period I am looking at, as the point type looks to be later in date Coptham court , Kunzing finds. I have seen quite a few of these scabbards with plates in but I cannot remmember the frame they where in Huh So any help will be most welcome Big Grin  The dagger is just about finished although not what you would think Pugio??, and the scabbard core and face plate is done just need to cut the openings out.
Many thanks in advance. ps also pmd Crispvs Big Grin
