Thanks to Comitatus and John Conyard for a great Wall Walk over the weekend- 14 miles starting from Winshields up to the Wall and along to Housesteads, down through the vallum and up to Barcombe Roman signal stations and an Iron Age hill fort, down to Vindolanda and then to a well deserved pint at the Twice Brewed. Lovely weather, great company, and raised a load of money for charity from some very generous walkers.
