As for surnames:

-OPOYLOS appears after 10th century A.D in Byzantine texts for the first time. -AKIS exist in Crete and south Dodekanesse

If your father was Ιωηλ then in Geometric Era you would be
Gioi Ιωηλιαδης, in classic time formaly Gioi O Ιωηλ (foreign names dont change ending). Ιωηλ is not a Greek name.
