The Thirteenth Pilgrimage of Hadrian’s Wall starts this Saturday 8th August.

On the morning the pilgrimage will be visiting Maryport, and the Senhouse Museum. The museum is celebrating the acquisition of the fort and civil settlement at Maryport by holding a Roman cavalry event. Comitatus will have 5 horses out on parade to meet the pilgrimage and help celebrate the site.

The XXIst International Limes (Roman Frontiers) Congress 2009 at Newcastle upon Tyne will take place at Newcastle University from Monday, August 17th to Sunday, 23rd August, 2009. http://www.newcastle-antiquaries.org.uk ... pageId=502

And Comitatus cavalry will be visiting Arbeia in South Shields on the Saturday 15th before moving on to Segedunum, Wallsend, on the 16th, the Sunday.
