Lists of Reenactment Groups Useful?
#15
Quote:RAT would be the ideal site to list reenactment clubs.
It's respected, independent, extensively moderated and has international resources. RAT has the best potential to be the most up-to-date resource.

We have almost given up asking the myriad sites to update their "lists of clubs" . Some have information that is 5 or more years out of date: email contact, address, description of club purpose etc etc.

HUZZAHS to RAT if they add this service to their long list of resources!

Not really, most people have found Matt's site before or in conjunction while searching topics on the Roman Army. Plus, Matt Amt and his site are respected, independent, have no need to be moderated and also has international resources, and can be updated as necessary.

Which basically means we don't need to have a second site going with the same thing...plus it will just chew up more staff time.

Huzzah to Matt Amt for doing it in the first place. 8)
