Strobel has written a lot about the Danubian wars of Domitian and Traian, including the most thorough book on Trajan's Dacian wars (at least as far as I know).<br>

His opinion on Domitan's role in the introduction of a 'new militaristic aspect' into Roman emperorship does differ a little from my opinion, but otherwise he produced some great stuff.<br>
