The sources for these Roman military expeditions as follows:
1. for the Bosporan War 45 – 49 AD: Tacitus. The Annals, XII, 15-18.//and some articles of the Russian archaeologists and historians (on the Siraces` Uspa fortress localization, in general).
2. for the Plautius Silvanus expedition to Chersones of Taurica, between 63-68 AD – many articles of some Ukrainian , Russian, and the others historians, such as – Rostovtzev, Blavatsky, Zubar, Avdeev, Shelov, Kadeev, Grakov, Vinogradov, Stein, Gerov, Zavadski, Conole, Miln, Karishkovsky, and the others…
