Seconded. All in all, an excellent experience.

And luckily, John and Amy hadn't booked the Kings Arms as the venue:

Phil, it was OK. They still had the lights shining and people in there late Saturday night when the water was roiling. Must have a good water coursing sealant!

Thanks very much to the organisers for getting us in last minute on a cancellation and to the speakers for a most interesting and informative morning of presentations. Well worth the journey and good to put names to a face or two!Big Grin

Belatedly (driving back to London, watching the mighty Liverpool crush Chelsea, then cramming frantically for a job interview late this afternoon to remind myself what it is that I do after so long not working, then drinking wine after it...phew) I'll second Ben's thanks. Thanks for the privilege of hearing so much expert opinion. Very useful...*reaches for ideas notepad*...and thank you all.

"Belated" would be a euphemism since my travel to York and back to Berlin was really troublesome. But it was well worth it! I had the pleasure and honour meeting you all in real life, listening to some great presentations, and hopefully we see us again next year.
I must admit I was not sure if the RATC is worth the travel but I assure everyone it is.
... after all, where else can you meet both, Caesar and Xerxes

Thank you all! Here are some of my impressions:

Thanks to John and Amy for the organization. It was really worth coming and meeting all of you. I personally think that John and Amy set quite high standards for future conferences.

I cannot compare with the previous ones, but I agree with you on that point!
