Thanks for the tip about steel armour Jasper! I kind of suspected something like that but never dared to try.<br>
I am far from being good enough to use oil and enamels are really too much of a pain in the rear end, so I use the ubiquitous acrylics.<br>
I recently bought a IIIrd cen. AD cavalryman (on foot), I think from Soldiers. The one with the very ornate Teilenhofen helmet.<br>
But I am still in the long, hard look phase (and some tentative skeches of the shield device) .<br>
