Yes, that is what I was told, IIRC. Also my cousins said that it was away for the celebration of a sea battle that took place down that way!

Alas, I couldn't. We had to call the tour off due to inflamed blisters at my wife's left foot. But at least we got three days of walking on one of the finest Roman roads in Germany, the Ausoniusstrasse.
