Where is the Roman ship Victoria?
#1
During the Varus exhibition Imperium-Konflikt-Mythos in 2008/2009, a Roman ship of the 'Oberstimm' type was reconstructed. It was called the Victoria. Till about 2010, the Victoria showed up in public events. Since then, the ship is gone, at least on the internet. Does anyone know where the Victoria is? And is it still operational?

Hi
...where EXACTLY I can only guess. Most likely back at Detmold, if I read this news right.
It has been at Straubing Altstadtfest from Sept. 5 to Sept. 7

According to that news-article:

...is is presently assigned to the LWL-Museum at Haltern/Lippe.
Hope this helps

...and another one had been build at Germersheim/Rhein, however, named "Lusoria Rhenana":

Dr.Schäfer from Trier University, who had been involved in the "Victoria"-Project earlier on also gave valuable inspirations here.
(And as it seems a thing or two more. 8+) )
IIRC this one is based on one of the ships found at Mainz.
