Thanks Gaius Julius Caesar!
It's never too late.

It looks a lot like my own sub, but I found that with the 'wing' over the shoulders, it caused the shoulderplates to flap a bit, instead of hanging down like they should...I had the outer portion trimmed back a bit to allow the plates to drop down more.....It might be worth considering, although my seg is made of thinner plate that most I think... :?

I fully agree with all that points!
The thickness of the sub is 1cm, may be 0,5 would be better.
By the way, what is your submaralis made of? Felt? Leather?
And what is its thickeness?

I will remove the "wings". As you said, it would cause problems the armour shoulders.

I will not put the sub under segmentata cause making the deformations of the sub made by the armour would take too much time.

As i said before, i'm creating objects i have never touched. And i still have 2 problem with the girth loops:
1/ shapes who looks too much like a barrel
2/ where should i put the last girth hoop (at the nostril, at waist, over the pubis?)

Mine is made of varied layers of thick cotton, quilted between a canvas type line,, so if yours is felt, perhaps the 'winging' effect I had would not be a problem! Maybe you would be as well leaving it, as it looks cool on its own...

I think i will remove the "wings" and make the shoulder more padded.

Here my tests with the girth hoops.
What do you think about these different versions?

A/ Standard breastplates with long girth hoops.
B/ Standard breastplates with shorter girth hoops.
C/ Long breastplates
D/ Breasplates longer than A, shorter than C

A top view of the girth hoops.
Are the shape and the sizes correct for a 180cm (5.9 ft) guy?

That bottom picture is about the same shape as mine.

So i know the hirth hoops shape is correct.

I still need to find the correct lenght for the breastplates.

Is there that large an overlap in the seg plates? I always thought of them being laced together down the front, creating the slightest of overlap at the joints.

Are you talking about this overlap i underlined in green?
You are right, and i will correct that later.
I'm fumbling with the Bishop pattern and pics from the net.
