Oh yes, that IS better. "Laudes" corresponds with the theme of this forum perfectly.

One laud for Jasper Big Grin

BTW, this reminds me of how the Emperors used to count the times they were saluted "Imperator" by the army after winning victories. These were recorded on the coinage. For example : IMP II, IMP III....IMP VIII and so on.

Applause "Laudes" vs. "Kudos". r

Good idea. In the 'Statistics', could you change the anem too (and maybe get rid of the 'negatives')?

Done.

If you ever do decide to create a negative karma section, I recommend the terms: censure and ostracism.

Good suggestion. But let us hope that if anyone is truly deserving of such treatment they would simply excuse themselves from our community altogether.

Everything I've witnessed thus far on RAT has been extremely encouraging and collegial. It is wonderful to see even differences of opinion and interpretation rendered with respect and courtesy.

I can't think of the last time someone got flamed actually.

Most times, even when people get heated in their disagreements, they are extremely civil.

I don't know any other group of people like that, not even my closest friends and the internet usually makes people LESS inhibited to flame.

I credit the PAX IASPERANA.
