Chapes - Jason Scharoun - 01-16-2016 Avete Forum Members, I'm trying to locate pictures of more "open" chapes for gladii for a possible reconstruction. As I can't think of a way to describe them, I'll link a picture of a reconstructed chape of this variety. However, I'd rather have pictures of originals than replicas if any pictures could be found.
