That is about a 20th century civil war between the 'red tunics' and the 'white' . LOL
It's more widely know as the tunic colour debate. Simply it is all about the question 'which colour is the tunic of a roman soldier?'

But yes, that book is a MUST, especially if you're planning on wearing any of said tunics.
