Thought all you fellow students of gladiators would get a kick out of this traditional Russian icon done up in a nontraditional theme

The dolls are:
Myrmillo
Thraex
Provocator
Retiarius
Secutor
Doctores
Harenarius (sic)

Beautiful Martin !!!
Hahaha! that's great! What a clever idea.
Matroska Gladiatora - brilliant!
Fabulous! Wouldn't mind that on the sideboard.
Pretty cool!
Just awesome. Would like to have a set, very well done.
That's wonderful, thanks for posting
Superb job! Makes me think what can be done in pther periods and walks of life ... what a superb idea.
Excellent...where can I get one
Nobody sells these, I did it myself. Sort of a hobby.
Amazing! They are great!!
Thank you. It helps keep me sane (or as sane as I'll ever be). I have also done WW II Leaders, Western armour through the ages, some Samurai, US Civil War (Union and Confederate) and I'm planning a "Roman infantryman through the ages" one (still figuring on whether to move forward or backward: i.e. make the largest doll 5th c. AD and work back in time with the smallest doll 3rd c. BC, or make the largest doll 3rd c. BC and work forward in time with the smallest doll 5th c. AD.)
Why not both ways, btw superb yob done!!
