Hello gang:

I ran across the term Dromedarii in connection with a unit of Roman Camel corpsmen- is this correct? If anyone had any info I'd be much obliged. I believe they may have at one time, guarded the eastern reaches of the Empire. Any information on years they were active would be helpful as well.

They surely existed. Just run a search and you'll find information on this subject. We've had a couple of topics on them already.
