Gioi, modern sea-levels have dropped considerably in regards to the time of the battle. The actual battle-site is now 5 miles from the coast, and a coastal plain exists where none existed before.

Well an officer -front ranker- at 480 B.C he would have survived Aigio, Kleonae, Samos, Platea, probaly Mykale.
That wold be a lot of wounds.

wow Gioi those where really nice i know i said something else except pikemen but that first one is really sweet and the horse archer looks sweet too btw what is he? looks like a mix of scythian/greek with persian trousers Big Grin anyway i like Johnny's drawings he really puts life into hes pictures
