Remeber that the areas refered to in the Articles are still toput it mildly "disputed". Put into account the fact that people like tothink themselves as indigenous and you get the dodgy mix.
The "mistake" in the article is in my opinion that he omots the definitions of the Byzantines that they are respomsible for the mess that modern historians and archeologists face.
