We had very hot and humid weather so far, but tomorrow (our last day) it's supposed to get better. So far, a big 'hi' from all the members present there.

Here are some pictures of the drill in the arena:

Is that Galla Placida sat in the chair, flanked by handmaidens?

What a stunning photograph. Whose idea was that?

That Picture of Galla Placidia & the Maidens, should it go on a Shirt!

Its a gorgeus & very intimidating picture!... Why power & autority does that? Smile

Her air on the picture is very aristocrat!.... Well don Galla & Maidens!

Vorti when we would see picture of your helm? I see it fit you well, must be Happy

Remarks by Philip on the Athenian Leaders:
Philip said that the Athenians were like the bust of Hermes: all mouth and dick.

Yes, we liked that image too - so austere! (And totally unlike her when you get to know her.
By the way, we deposed her young son in a lightning action (a brilliant idea by the Minervii, carried out by them and the Batavi), totally surprising Rob, the Batavi's commander - who was proclaimed usurper!
Of course, they also arranged to assassinate him...
