Yes, Legio XX meets almost every month for a fabrica in addition to events. We just had one at our house near Mount Vernon, so pretty close to you. Matt Amt runs the group and the mailing list. We also have a Roman Days Yahoo group to keep up with our main annual event.

Among most people, when we talk of the Romans, I am more informed, but I'd love to talk with those who know FAR more than I do.
The Romans are so much like us, and yet so different and I want my Son's to learn more about their History and how it's influenced the western world, than they would learn in public schools.
( I want them to learn latin after spanish, and before french as well)


Oh and West Va? You are the Barbarians to our west!=)

Just jokeing, I have spent alot of time in the summers as a kid around Lake Ferndale, near Romney. Beautiful country, great hikes and good hunting.
