On Your Frame it will fit, you will have room for your tunic and arming vest under it also. I have a 54" chest and will NEVER fit into anything like that Off-the-rack. If your Bigger get something custom made, like from Matt who is making mine.
PS if ever sending measurement to anyone, take a deep breath and
measure to make sure you can breath easily.
On Another twist
The Mainz blades
AH4210 Pompeii Gladius With Bone Handle
vs
AH 4211 Pompeii Gladius with wood pommel and guard
Which would we typically see, I notice most have in their
representation ones with wood but from digs we seem to
find the bone ones, I am assuming bone was more rare but
has survived better in a archeological sense as the wood rotted easier.
Can someone clear this up for me?
Is it really bad to have the all bone model or should we use only
the wooden/bone combination?

Bryan, best check with Dave or Robert (if he's still has any input on authenticity matters) to see what is acceptable per your group.
Having said that, the wood bits are far more common, I don't recall any of the swords having complete bone fittings, but someone with more access to better books/museums can probably chime in and give you the real deal on it.
The nice thing about the wood bits Bryan is that you can modify them yourself...or make your own set.
Bryan, also check out Soul of the Warrior's new gladii...same price as the deepeeka ones and you can get a custom scabbard colour.

Hahaha, yeah...he's a glutton for abuse lol.
Ummm....Byran, the mainz style gladius is a bit too early for the 30th...Fulham style at least, but definately pompeii style. Who told you to get the Mainz style? That's more of a republican/very early imperial blade.
There's nothing wrong with the bone pommel and guard I don't think...I don't have the home library though to say definatively yes or no. I don't think it's a problem...same as some pugiones may have had organic hand grips instead of metal.

Sorry I miss-Typed it is the AH4210 Pompeii Gladius With Bone Handle
Bone handled Pompeii gladius. The bone is layered to reach correct thicknesses, and seems quite sturdy. Same great blade shape and scabbard as the 4211 above. Proper inset brass guard, no ricasso, easy to sharpen. On the whole a good choice for the re-enactor. (SOTW)
As far as being a economical choice it is considering you get the RAT discount at SOTW so it is even better.

There is just one problem with the bone handle: AFAIK it is made by several pieces of bone glued together. Unfortunately it is visible very good and not accurate at all.

Even the original pieces were made from several pieces Patrik. But, I agree, not as many pieces as the DPKa.

Any close-ups of the handle? It looks like your regular 3-piecer to me , but then its a small picture!

The actual grip is one piece, same as on the other deepeeka swords. If I recall, the guard and pommel seemed to be made of multiple pieces glued together somehow.

Patrick, when you have a chance, look into Miks book on gladii. You will see that the bone pommel and guard were each made out of several pieces glued together. The guard was not made out of one piece, neither was the pommel.

would you be able to sand down the poor seams of the bone parts that are glued together to improve the look? And if it's cracking, could you paint some (clear) epoxy over the whole bone handle part to fill in cracks and open seams?
