You don't suppose it might be at a little place called Thermopylae, do you,
Daniele? Have you not had your morning coffee yet? I might try to attend, if I can get a cheap flight...

Thank you for informing me about it, anyway are you so sure that any commemoration is done in the same place of the real battle/event? Where do you think to commemorate the first Moon landing? BTW, and you? Did already have your coffee?

Ciao Dave. In my avatar? Thank you, but it's the well known and wrong Deepeeka Deurne helmet, while in the banner it's a Burgh Castle helmet with an added crest. I'm modifying both to make them more accurate.

Optime uale,

Hi Daniele, thanks, the Burgh castle helm looks quite similar to the Deurne, apart from the ear holes, what's wrong with the Deepeeka? In what way are you modifying them? Sorry for the questions

You're welcome! Here is the wrong Deepeeka Deurne helmet:

Here is the real one:

You can see the differences. Moreover here you can read the discussion about it:

So, it's so much to modify, that one could make it better starting from zero...

Vale,

I was working on the basis that, since the commemmoration is named for the site, and no other location was specified in the original announcement, the balance of probabilities was that it would be at Thermopylae. Sorry if I offended you. Have a Cappucino on me....
