A friend asked me recently if any groups exist in California that reenact battles from Tolkien's novels.
If anyone knows of a group or chapter it would be appreciated if they would list them here on this thread.

As for LARPing Middle-Earth, there are groups that I've come across that do so at places like DragonCon. Sadly, I think many of them don't really understand what Middle-Earth means. Many are simply fans of the movies that either never dug deeper into Tolkien's mythos or have a skewed view of it courtesy of high fantasy drek (the kind of stuff the Professor was noted for disliking).
