#16
Sean, "somnus infirmis" will be at my workplace tomorrow as a general quide  !

Dave, my new 90 pounder is this Kassai`s 90-pounder:

I have already the same model as a 110 pounder but I`m afraid that I must search the depths of Hades to find a slogan for that  ...

Ah, a strange coincidence, that's a bow that i've been looking at, (though I don't know whether it'd be suitable for the period i'm re-enacting) it looks pretty nice, do you have the horn-plating?

No, I don`t have the horn plating. My foremost interests don`t lie in re-enactment with bow shooting and my needs in that particular area are only practical (durability, power & accuracy). Anyway it would be nice to have an accurate re-enactment bow too...

Anyway a horn-plated 35 pound Kassai`s "Vazul" (Bear) might be just the bow for you Dave  ! It is almost impossible to shoot a heavy bow on horseback...

Oh sorry, Dave! My "Vazul" bows are quite long and this might pose some problems with shooting from horseback  ...

Quote:sleep is for the weak

We use it in the workshop when an event is pressing and there's loads of work to do.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, I thought you were joking with him.

Well I did get "sleep" and "weak" or infirmis to mean "sick" like Infirmed (infirmis) ... I just took the meaning incorrectly as "sick and tired" or "weak and sleepy" as opposed to "sleep is for the weak" ... I guess I have to work on my Latin some more!
Vale!
