I'd look for books by Kassai. You probably can find them somewhere by checking www.horsebows.com . He is really active in the horse archery realm and is a really good resource. It definately is not a simple thing to learn.

Website of Kassai (some also available in English):
http://www.kassai-lovasijaszat.hu/index_eng.php his e-mail adress: [email protected] I suggest you should ask him. According to his homepage, the nearest group of his Horse Archer World Association is located near Berlin (but still nearer to you than Kaposmérő, where his estate lies).

Hi Manuel!
I recommmend you this book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Attila-Hun-John ... 493&sr=1-4 It is not a scholarly work but the author tells the story of Lajosz Kassai also and how he "re-invented" the horse archery. There is also a very graphic description of impaling! In all not a very serious work but a highly entertaining summer reading  ! |
