online eLatin, eGreek site
#1
eClassics

From the Rome-Arch list:
Take a look at a new on-line resource and social network for
Classicists: eLatin eGreek eLearn. The site launched two weeks ago and
is intended for anyone wishing to use/explore technology for
learning/teaching ancient languages (including archaeologists who must
teach a section of intro Greek/Latin every semester). From the site's
description:

"Students and teachers of Latin, ancient Greek, and Classical literature
can exchange ideas on the role of technology in the Classics classroom
here. Share your stories and ideas, Titus-like triumphs, or Trojan-like
defeats with colleagues world-wide."

Recent topics include a primer for the technically challenged teacher,
evaluating virtual worlds as sites for learning Latin, a success story
of blogging to teach Catullus, and Classics-themed YouTube videos.
