For those Romans OR barbarians in the upper midwest U.S. and Ontario, Canada, we extend an invitation to be part of the fun during the weekend of June 16 at Fort Meigs, about 20 miles south of Toledo, Ohio.
This is a multi-time event, involving everyone from ancient Rome to Gulf War. The fort is the largest wooden reconstructed 1812 era fort in North America.
This seems like an alternate activity for those who can't get down to the Army birthday bash.
