Exhibition with ancient rowing ships in Elefsina

In the cultural center Leonidas Kanelopoulos of elefsina
municipality from may 10 to may 17 the elefsina peloponesians
organize an exhibition named "ancient rowing ships and more..."
In the area of the exhibition one can find photographic material
and the Ships ARGO_KERYNEIA ELEYTHERIA_MINOAN SHIP_TRIMERE
OLYMPIAS_PAPYRELA, ERMIONE and the rowing paddles of Averof frigate ,
a macket of a trimere and many ship miniatures from the naval defense
department ,Thalassographies and more rare material.Also slides and 5
minutes of video materials on all ships.
Close to the summer cinema in the beach the Minoan ship will be
present from the Chania naval musuem in Crete accompanied by its
captain to show you arounf and admire it.
The show begins as Friday 11th of may at 7 oclock in the afternoon
.The exhibit in the cultural center everyday at the foloowing hours
10:00 - 12:00 noon
6:00 - 9:00 night.
Minoan ship Visits:
9:00 - 12:00 noon
6:00 - 8:00 night.
