Pilum Wrapping
#31
When we get into teaching the guys how to throw I show then how to hold the pilum about 1/3rd of the way up from the bottom for greater distance and loft

This puts the center of balance ahead of the point of the throw.

Or to use a finger loop at about the same location... it can put a wicked spin on the shaft which helps to keep it straight.. also more distance with the same effort.

So would you put more of the sprial wrap down there (lower 1/3rd) then attach the finger loop..or just attach the loop with no wrapping?
