Thanks! I'll estimate that the "circle" is about 12" or so, and the handle around 18", with the widest part of the blade being ab out 1 1/2". Is that pretty close? Around 1/8" thick at the unsharpened side back by the base? I'm not trying to hijack the thread, though. My project will take about a year or so to complete, since I have to make the tools to till before I plant, harvest before I thresh, you know. There's always something else to do...not to mention the three or four months for the wheat to come to maturity. Might be able to get a start this Spring.
