That is so thoughtful for one of our greatest days to be recognised. It was a great day only marred by some disgusting little inbreds who dessicated and graffiteed the War Memorial in the early hours of the morning with "anzacs are murderers"

The culprits were three teen age girls.

Volunteers and even some young men on their way home from the pub stopped to help remove the spraypaint just in time for the dawn service.

It was great to se eour war heroes and tehir grandchildren marching tall. This year we even had other nations marching to recognise their efforts.

As it is my birthday, Anzac Day is always a day to reflect.

I also give thanks to those from 'down under' who helped Britain and the other Allies during WW1.

The enemy is less likely to get wind of an advance of cavalry, if the orders for march were passed from mouth to mouth rather than announced by voice of herald, or public notice. Xenophon
