As I promised I will post a detailed 'How To' when I have the time (but this will take a while
). I took a lot of photograps during the construction process and can give a step by step description.
It took a few months to make this as I only had a few hours each week and a lot was done by trial and error. I hadn't really done something like this before. Having to do everything by hand (especialy the filing) also added to the time. Also experimenting with the right pitch ingredients took up a while.
And I had to make all the chisels and punches myself too.
If I add a nice horsehair plume to it I think it will look very nice
@Sandrus: If you're nice I'll let you wear it for a while
