To my recollection, they only complete brass pugio is the one from Leew...I do not remember how to spell the rest of the name. All other ones that I am aware of are iron with inlays.
I too do not understand why a reconstruction would be made of brass when in the end the original is in iron.
If I pay a considerable sum, I want what is accurate not an item that was made to look like the original simply because the armorer I hired thinks it is easier if he made it in brass. If you do not want to do it correctly, then turn down the comission.
