The highly decorated greaves toward the bottom of the page on this website (
http://www.romancoins.info/MilitaryEqui ... rmour.html ) are cavalry greaves, officer greaves (centurion and the like) or what ?
The ones I am referring to are the first three respectively found in : Regensburg Museum, RGZM Mainz, and Guttmann Collection.

I know of the Festus greaves and some other ones found on tombstones. However, I was wondering if any real fine decorated examples have been found for legionary (non cavalry) officers of the 1st Century AD
