A Patriser (don´t know what the name is in English) was recently found in Östergötland, a county in southern Sweden, and it was reported as a important find.
As far as have found out it is a stampingtool for coins and medallions that are assosiated with the ruling class of the society in the late roman times and early medieval times here in Sweden. Only 5 have been found before.
Does anybody here know more about these things?
