I see! So you made an imitation of a cheap imitation of a cast plate! Big Grin I like that!

Cast? Were not they mostly chip carved in the average/good quality types? I'm killing my hands since some months to make a decent chip carved belt buckle... Big Grin

When did the Romans go back to thinner belts? Or did it just depend what region you were from?

The ones I saw from Germany, Gaul and Britain, changed back to thinner belts during the 5th c.

When you've got the page for the photo open in Photobucket look to the right and you'll see a few text fields. Highlight all of the text in the 'URL Link' field. Copy the URL (it might actually copy automatically when you highlight the text anyway), then go to the RAT post and paste it into that. The link will be automatically clickable after you Submit the post.

If the photo is small enough, before you Submit the post, highlight the URL text you pasted, and click on the URL button above the Reply box you write your posts in. Or, copy from the Photobucket 'IMG Code' text field and paste that into the RAT post.

Nice one. If you reply to this post using the QUOTE button, you'll see the extra text either end of the URL that means you can have the pic actually show up in your post. If you had highlighted the URL and clicked the IMG button above, then that adds the extra text at either end of the text that is highlighted.
