Google just release a 'make your own maps' feature. Now everybody here can make up walking tours of Roman sites, lists of groups, or whatever. Look for the 'my maps' tab.

Looks like they're playing catch-up with M$ now, rather than the other way round (when Virtual Earth looked like a desparate attempt to catch up with Google Earth). Pity we can't have the Google interface with the M$/Getmapping coverage for the UK, but I suppose beggars can't be choosers...
