My paper 'The military fabrica and the production of arms in the early principate' from The Production and Distribution of Roman Military Equipment. Proceedings of the Second Roman Military Equipment Research Seminar, BAR International Series 275, (Oxford 1985) is now available for download (be warned: it is a 5Mb PDF). More will follow in due course and The Good Dr Coulston has asked me to PDF his archery paper too in the near future.
