I cannot see the picture you posted Chuck, but it is supposed to be the Heddernheim 'snake' helmet.

Well, the copper fittings belonging to one of these helmets were in fact recoverd from the Thorsberg bog.

sorry, found your thread not earlier...

I also would say it's rather a Heddernheim copy.

The Thorsberg Auxiliary Cavalry H parts show the snakes. But there's another main design element, different to the Heddernheim find: the cheek guard rosettes and the deep embossed wreath on the back/neck. Here's the Thorsberg find from Schleswig:
