Mosaics of Roman Tunisia

Late last year I was lucky enought to spend some time in Tunisia exploring the many excellent Roman remains there.

I thought I could share some of the incredible mosaics with you. Now most people are aware of the famous Bardo Museum, and the multitude of mosaics from many periods on display there, but this first offering comes from the unusual underground Roman houses in Tunisia. I really was not expecting to see mosaics of this quality in-situ!
