From today's Financial Times:-
"A reader chasing his lost luggage has discovered that Qantas's customer relations officer in London is called Mike Bishop. How he manages to fit that in as well as chair BMI British Midland is anyone's guess. "
Together with lecturing, posting on RAT, preparing Roman Military Equipment 3.....

Okay, I'll confess it, this is all part of a plot that makes the cybermen look like numpties. We Mike Bishops are here to take over your puny planet using nothing but Roman military equipment, a few scifi books, a bass guitar, an American football, and the Michegan State Senate. Oh and in case you're not yet worried, we also invented a new type of android to assist in the process.
You have been warned.
Actually, I have a long-standing (and, I suspect, wholly one-sided) contest with the Senator, since for ages if you Googled for Mike Bishop you got his web page as the first result; now you get mine ;-) Not that I pay attention to such things... much...

I bet he and his people do .... BIG time
Quote:The novelization of AlienĂ‚Â³ by Alan Dean Foster gives Bishop II the name Michael Bishop and clearly indicates his status as a human.
Now that's serious kudos points.

Sorry Mike the Senator heard the news and had his minions get to work.
He's back at number 1.
Come on Romans, call out the Legions. Our "Mike Bishop"must be number 1.

I went to high school with a Mike Bishop, and he turned out to be a real scoundrel! Are you related to hillbillies in the Appalachians

If there are Cumminses, Parfitts, or Bishops there I could well be (and a quick google suggests there are). I remember the Beverley Hillbillies on TV...

Mr. Bishop,
There are plenty of Cumminses very close to the same region as the Bishops.
Beverley Hillbillies is the show my wife learned the local accent from.
